Faith

A short devotional this week as I encourage you to meditate on, repeat and exercise this well known

verse:

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Read the rest of this passage and you and will follow a story of faith. It is timeline which recounts the faithfulness of individuals who were certain in uncertain situations.

So, in this period of change, let us be sure of Jesus and take steps forward in faith.

Here’s my attempt at putting this verse into our context:

Faith is being sure that Jesus died for us. We are certain that God has a plan for us.
